ULTRA SLAP
Privacy
ULTRA SLAP is a free slap game for everyone, including kids. We collect as little as we can. You can play without an account, and we never sell data.
The short version
- No account is needed. We never ask for an email, phone number, real name, photo or birthday to play.
- Your profile (name, level, record, fighters, wings and settings) lives in your browser's local storage.
- There is no chat between players.
- We count screens and taps first-party, without names, so we know whether the game works. No third-party analytics or ad trackers for protected players.
- We never sell or rent data.
What stays on your device
The name you pick, your level and XP, rating and record, the fighters and cosmetics you own, and your settings. Clearing your browser's site data deletes all of it.
What reaches our servers
When you play online, your browser connects to our game server and sends your chosen name, your fighter and cosmetics, your rating and your inputs, so the match can run. Your opponent sees your name, look and moves. Friend and tournament links carry a random code; the server keeps a tournament only while it runs.
Anonymous counts: a random id for your device and for this visit, which screen or button was used, and which step of the game happened. Automated test browsers never report.
Our hosting providers (Vercel for the website, Cloudflare for the game server) process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and stop abuse. We don't store IP addresses in our own data.
Ads
Before launch the game shows labelled placeholders, not real ads. When real ads arrive, protected players (under 13, or age unknown) only ever see non-personalised ads, and never on portal builds where the portal runs its own.
Children
Every player is treated as protected until they tell us otherwise, and we only ask for an age at the moment it matters (for example before a purchase). Protected players get no personalised ads, no third-party trackers and no free-text chat.
Note for review: confirm COPPA, the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and GDPR Article 8 positions, including whether the random device id counts as personal information.
How long we keep things
- Browser profile: until you clear your browser data.
- Tournaments: while they run.
- Anonymous counts: as long as they're useful.
